Mémoires Perdues. Fußnoten eines Krieges
The Cultural Office of Karlsruhe invited me to organize a contemporary art project on WW1 in the city for the European Cultural Days 2014 – it was generally meant as a ‘public arts’ project, and what happened was everything between artistic urban research and actual interventions in the city’s space. As ‘main acts’, I had invited Pauline Curnier Jardin, Basim Magdy and Philip Metz to produce new works, but lots of other things kept happening during the project’s runtime – even more art, three issues of a small magazine, and a 1h documentary movie … The trailer offers a glimpse into the project:
